Capstone Project

The moment of truth! Yes. This time it’s not a baby thesis, this is the final! During this subject, I was about to give up because I was loaded by problems but my co-group mates encourage me to stand up and fight. This subject was really hard though, but we were able to pass it. We have made a mobile application entitiled “PEAR” Profile of Employees in Augmented Reality and our respondents for that application were the students of UM Digos. Luckily, we survived! I will show you our mobile app.

On-the-Job Training

This was the time that we have to get a company to work without any compensation for the sake of our grades. This is for the preparations of working in the real world. I know it’s not really easy to work and to find a work but we were able to find a company at last! We were trainees of DOLE or Department of Labor and Employment. During that time we were able to get a positive response from them and they also look forward for us to work someday in their company soon.

Professional Ethics

This subject discusses the different ethics on how to do the right thing in our work place. It tells us the advantages and disadvantages of posting or uploading photos or videos in the internet especially our email address and password. It is also important to know when to accept agreement upon installing new software.

PC Troubleshoot

This subject helps us to fix computer units and install operating systems. It really helps a lot for us to be ready in the near future. We were able to fix a computer units during our final exams and thank God I passed!

Vb.Net

This subject focuses only in Visual Basic of course and it really helps a lot when creating system because it has a simple drag and drop button only that’s why it is easy to create or design a system.

Web Development

This subject discusses about how to use the notepad for coding and it also discusses php. We used the .html, .htm, and .cs using the notepad. We were able to learn the different styles in making a web and it tells us on how to be creative.

System Analysis and Design

In this subject, this was like a baby thesis. Yes, we were told to find a company to find a problem and make them a system. I was really stressed out not only me but also my group mates. We were 3 in a group and that was Jessa, Kevin, and Me. But time passes by so fast we have made it and pass the final defense. The name of our system was “Enlistment and Online Entrance Examination System for Carmelo C. de los Cientos National Trade School (CCNTS- TESDA)”  it’s a web based system and we used php for our programming language to fully complete the system and it finally succeed! Anyways, it was fun and productive to do the documentations and of course the system.  

So this is how it looks like.

Database Management System

This subject discusses on how to create systems with database. Of course, in creating a system we used one programming language and one database (e.g. MySQL, Microsoft Access, etc.)  I will show you some examples of my work.

This is a sample of my work using Microsoft Access and this was used as database for our “Quiz System”.

Data Structure File Organization

In this subject I got a grade of 2.9! I will never forget this subject. Our professor in this subject was Sir Dasargo J. I also loved this subject because I easily understand the formulas and I could easily solve it. I don’t know why when the final result of my exams I got only low scores and as I look at my papers my solving was rumbled that’s why I only got 1 point out of 10 or 20 points every problem solving. Imagine that? There’s no discount. Haha!

Anyways, this subjects also talks about different binary trees and we also created systems for our final project. Our final project before was an English-Filipino dictionary and the programming language we used in this system was net beans that’s why I could not be able to take a screen shot of my work because I don’t have installer of net beans anymore.

Now, here come the sophomores (second year). We were second Year College when this subject introduced to us. If I am not mistaken, our professor in this subject was Ma’am Oplas I think?

In this subject we were able to learn the different loops and others; I don’t remember those topics that our professor discusses.

Basic Multimedia

Every students loved! Multimedia! Actually, when our professor first introduce this subject I was dreamed to be an artist (layout artist or video editor) Professional one huh! :) but when I first used it I was like "OMG" I hate this! I am not a creative person actually and I don't like to create this and that or mix this and that. I have no idea on how to become a good one. 

Anyways, with the help of this I could be able to learn how to use photo shop, power director, 3D Max, and other editing tools. I will show you my works.

I did this using photoshop :) I know it's not ok! don't judge please. lol

We were instructed to do a calling card using photoshop I guess? I don't know if we used photoshop for this, I think it's not photoshop. Anyways! as you can see, my color combination is naughty! hahaha! lol

I did this using 3D Max. :) Nice? ahaha No!

Yeah! we were told to make a 3D house using 3D Max of course. Fun to make this but it's also tiring. :)

Advance Programming

This time, our professor discusses vb.net or the visual basic  and also he discusses netbeans, and C# (Csharp) which is a programming languages. I really loved this subject because I found it very easy to understand and easy to make a system. It is because these software applications is a drag and drop system. I will show some examples of my work!

Next is the Jack'n'Poy system which is actually working until now.

This is our final project. It is a dictionary system, sorry I was not able to capture the next form because I forgot the user name and password hahaha!

All of these pictures are all created in vb.net. It's the only way I can do, I have a lot of system or output here but the problem is I don't have the installers of Netbeans, and C# that is why I couldn't open it. Amazing right? :)

Basic Programming and Problem Solving

Basic is a very powerful language as a tool for the novice programmer. Basic allows for a wide range of applications, and it has many versions. However, as long as the emphasis is on the techniques of programming and problem solving, the specific syntax is easy to follow.

Well, in this subject we were instructed to do a basic program like "how to pop up a 'Hello World' in the computer" and I'm sorry to say that I have no copies already of my work but I will give you a sample of this work. 

Yes, this is how we code it. Sorry but it's a note pad, yeah you can actually code in the notepad but during in my first year we used Java or the JCreator. :)

Computer Fund with Office Application

In this subject, our professor was able to introduced the Microsoft office like Microsoft words, powerpoint, excels, and publisher. I was able to learn the basic applications on how to use these Microsoft office. I will give you a look of my work in my Microsoft words during my 1st year college.

I'm so sorry for that it's not really perfect but still I passed this subject.
